It looks like we are about to witness a Republican extravaganza called the GOP convention and according to its planners one of the main focuses of the convention will be Mormonism! Hmm interesting, I wonder how much the Mormon church is donating to this mass Proselytizing attempt? It's the perfect platform, after all their candidate was or maybe still is a Bishop in the Mormon church! It will be interesting to see how all those Christian Republicans will react to that. If I'm not mistaken, I have heard numerous times the main stream christian media denounce Mormonism as a false Religion, in fact, I read an article by:
JOHN G. TURNER
, New York Times Updated: August 20, 2012 - 7:44 PM.How the Mormon church Started to allow black people into their congregation .Here is an snipet:"I believe that in 1978 God changed his mind about black people,"
Elder Kevin Price sings in the Broadway musical "The Book of Mormon."
The line is meant to be funny, and it is -- in part because it's true. In a June 1978 letter, the first presidency of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints proclaimed that "all worthy male
members of the Church may be ordained to the priesthood without regard
for race or color." Interesting.
I guess he Romney picked Ryan a Catholic to balance him out in order to please the Christian right. Now that's interesting, because Christians have problems with the Catholic church also.
I suppose the GOP has many wonderful and awe inspiring events planned to wow their grass root supporters. Along with all the smoke and mirror antics, along with all that, maybe, just maybe, they might reveal their plan for America, but I doubt it, after all Romney's own campaign leadership has been quoted as saying, if we reveal our plan before the election, we will lose! Now that is scary, it's hard to imagine how a Presidential candidate could possibly win the Presidency without actually laying out his vision and plan for America, why would any one vote for them?
