The middle class in America are getting their ass kicked, high gas prices, high food prices,high unemployment and everything on this planet taxed, I wonder how in the world the lower middle class and poor people are surviving? We keep getting squeezed and they the powers to be want more. In spite of what some in the government say things are not looking that rosy for the future of this nation and it's people. What is it that they are trying to achieve? Maybe to reduce our country to 2 classes of people the rich and the poor, I don't know.Not to mention the egregious disregard for our personal rights and privileges afforded to us by the constitution.They are in our pockets,in our homes in our cars and in our personal lives.Our reps. in DC seem to think they have a handle on what Americans want and need but in my opinion they are way out of touch with the every day citizen trying to keep their heads above water. They do what ever they deem fit to do without reservation and they have the power to do it and enforce it. What we need to do is to be pro-active and write, call and email our reps and let them know what is the real truth out here in the trenches of life.
